Workshop on Geomechanics and Energy to be linked with SES 2015

We are thrilled to announce that the Second EAGE Workshop on Geomechanics and Energy will be linked with the Third Sustainable Earth Sciences Conference & Exhibition (SES 2015). By combining the two events, we hope to create a strong multi-disciplinary and mutually reinforcing programme. Delegates of the Workshop will also be able to attend the technical sessions of SES and vise versa.

Due to this linkage, the date and location of The Second EAGE Workshop on Geomechanics and Energy have been changed. The workshop will take place in Celle, Germany from 13-15 October 2015.

Submit your abstract for Geomechanics and Energy 2015
High-quality scientific work and contributions in innovative applied-oriented technologies are encouraged. The main topics of the workshop are Hydrocarbon Exploration and Production, Underground Storage and Geothermal Energy. An extended list of the topics can be found here.

Short Course: Geomechanics for Energy-related Applications
A short course by A. Ferarri, PhD (EPFL) and Prof. Dr. L. Laloui (EPFL) will be organized prior to the workshop on Monday 12 October 2015 as an optional extra.
